Back in November at its annual dealer meeting, Ford announced to U.S. dealerships that it had created a new way to shop for and sell pre-owned Ford vehicles. The platform is called Ford Blue Advantage, and it will connect the used inventory of all 3,100 Ford dealerships in the country, including Jordan Ford here in Mishawaka.
With the introduction of Ford Blue Advantage, shoppers will find it easier than ever to locate the exact used Ford model that they’re looking for. Used car customers will be able to access Ford Blue Advantage as a digital platform, where they can shop the nationwide Ford used inventory. In addition to the huge selection of vehicle options open to every dealership location in the country, the platform will also have each item listed with a guaranteed price and delivery cost.
According to Ford Vice President of U.S. Marketing, Sales, and Service, Mark LaNeve, Ford sells roughly 3 million pre-owned vehicles each year. About a third of those sales are made by Ford dealerships across the country. By implementing Ford Blue Advantage, the automaker hopes to make shopping for a used Ford vehicle more appealing than ever, and to increase its used sales nationwide.
